Must-Have for Spring!!!

I am so excited about this great idea that I got from the girls at: To Catch a Thrift
so I headed out to my favorite thrift store here in Virginia and dug through the vintage, elastic waist band skirts.
I tried on about 10 and found two that were perfect.
All you gotta do is hike it up and belt the thing.
 Scarf: 1$ Vintage
Belt: .49 cents
Skirt: 5.99$ SalvationArmy

(The shoes & shades are from Nordstom so I guess that makes up for the thrifted pieces)
Add a cardigan and:
Life is good.
Changing Lives One Closet at a Time!

I am super inspired by:

 70’s Denim
Navy & Amazing hats
 Minimally Modern

Super soft colors

What are you inspired by for spring/summer?

Boy shorts (For guys only)

Let’s just take a minute here and give thanks for what is happening on the runways this season.
I don’t know about you, but year after year I am deeply grieved by how short women’s shorts are getting and how oversized (think Abercrombie khaki cargos with the strings hanging) and dingy the short options are for men.
Now. Don’t get me wrong. I do NOT want to see the hem go any higher than this. In fact, I don’t think that most guys could/should wear shorts THIS short. Things should be concealed and nothing should be hanging out guys. That is NOT okay. But let’s think about a shorter flat front short. Show some lower quad. It’s okay.
No strings dangling from the sides, no cargo pockets, no awful khaki. Just a quality short in a great color.
Some of you might need to start doing some squats/lunges/waxing/tanning.
*I am not in full support of the deep v-cardigan without an undershirt UNLESS you actually look like this guy.
I would love to help you guys shop for your spring/summer wardrobe! No more excuses fellas. Email/call for help (I know how much you like to shop)

Oh sweet spring!

I just love spring. I know it is not officially here but signs of it are definitely in the air. Little cut off shorts can be seen in the malls and floral prints dressed and generously weaved in and out of the pages of our favorite fashion magazines.
The thing I love most about spring is the newness. It is as if God is giving us all another chance to get in shape and drink more water and wear more fabulous outfits. (I doubt that is what he was really thinking)
So with a new season come a new look and new ideas. I would love you, the reader, to have a say into what you want to see on this blog. I have some ideas but would LOVE your input.
Are you tired of seeing what the little one or myself wore?
Do you want more how to’s?

Thank you for reading!
